Sartera is France's first proximity public data centre, located in Le Mans, Sarthe. Built under a public service delegation, it provides local authorities and regional businesses with secure hosting services designed to preserve the sovereignty of their digital data, in full compliance with French and European regulations. With 68 cabinets, an initial capacity of 300 kVA and a modular architecture, Sartera delivers 99.982% availability (Tier 3+ equivalent) and a PUE of 1.25. Connectivity is ensured through dual fibre optic feeds and access to over 170 referenced telecom operators via the Axione network, including MMR, cross-connect and inter-cabinet patching. Winner of the 2024 Innovation Prize at the Assemblée des Départements de France.
