China Mobile International (CMI) operates a network spanning 78 countries, supported by more than 100 submarine cable systems, with a combined bandwidth exceeding 168 Tbps and more than 330 global points of presence. The operator owns its own data centers in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and Frankfurt, supplemented by a network of 1,278 partner data centers. Among the submarine cables in which CMI participates are SJC2, a 10,500-kilometer system connecting Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan with a capacity exceeding 126 Tbps, as well as PEACE, 2Africa, IAX, IEX, and SEA-H2X, which strengthen connectivity between Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Its offerings include global IP transit via the CMNET network, dedicated Internet access, and cloud solutions for operators, content providers, and enterprises. CMI has established peering agreements with major Internet exchange points, including LINX, AMS-IX, DE-CIX, and HKIX, reducing the number of network hops to more than 808 million mobile users in China for multi-cloud environments.
