With a presence in 110 countries across six continents, China Telecom Global leverages the Tier 1 network of its parent company, one of China’s leading fixed-line and data center providers. Its international backbone relies on nearly 48 diversified terrestrial and submarine cable routes and more than 150 points of presence in major cities outside China. At the heart of this infrastructure is CN2 (AS4809), an MPLS network designed as the successor to the historic ChinaNet network, offering resilient, low-latency connectivity between China and the rest of the world. The operator operates more than 450 of its own data centers within China and has a presence in more than 180 data centers internationally. Its service portfolio includes global IP transit, dedicated Internet access, MPLS VPNs, dedicated Ethernet links, private peering, and interconnection of data centers and cloud platforms, all designed to meet the needs of enterprises and operators.
