Exa Infrastructure

EXA Infrastructure is a London-based digital infrastructure operator formed in 2021 when the I Squared Capital fund acquired the European and transatlantic assets of Interoute and, subsequently, GTT Communications. The company now operates one of the largest dedicated platforms connecting Europe to North America and Asia via the Middle East, with a fiber-optic network spanning over 155,000 kilometers and covering 37 countries and approximately 300 cities. Its infrastructure includes more than 500 points of presence, about 15 Tier 3-equivalent data centers, and approximately 300 colocation sites. EXA Infrastructure offers dark fiber links, long-distance transport services, and connections to its three proprietary transatlantic submarine cables, including the route with the lowest latency between Europe and North America. The operator serves more than 1,500 customers, ranging from governments to technology companies, with very high-capacity networks designed for the financial, video game, and audiovisual broadcasting sectors. This mission-critical infrastructure forms the digital backbone of numerous international expansion projects for critical services.
