France-ix

France-IX is a neutral Internet Exchange Point (IXP) operator in France, enabling direct peering and interconnection between over 600 networks, including operators, ISPs, content providers, cloud platforms, hosting companies, and enterprises. As the largest IXP in France by number of connected networks, France-IX operates Points of Presence (PoPs) in Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Grenoble, Lille, Toulouse, and Bordeaux, with peak traffic reaching around 3.5 Tbit/s. The platform offers public peering, private interconnection, IP transit, cloud access, and hosting services, all delivered through a neutral, non-profit association-based model (FRNIX), ensuring reinvestment of revenues into infrastructure and long-term continuity. France-IX supports carrier-grade connectivity, low-latency routing, and scalable bandwidth, making it a key hub for efficient, cost-effective, and resilient internet traffic exchange across France and Europe.
