Connected to the PEACE international submarine cable via its Ifriqya branch—which went into service in Bizerte with a capacity of up to 3 Tbit/s—Ooredoo Tunisia relies on several submarine links to secure its international connectivity to Europe. The operator also holds a stake in the Didon cable, which it co-operates with Orange Tunisia, bringing its total international capacity to approximately 800 Gbit/s, expandable to over 10 Tbit/s. This network supports national coverage of over 99% of the population with 3G and 98% with 4G, as well as the rollout of 5G beginning in February 2025. Tunisian businesses benefit from high-speed mobile and fixed-line Internet access, expanding fiber connectivity, and fixed wireless access (FWA) deployed since 2017. Ooredoo also hosts content delivery networks (CDNs) in its national data center, reducing latency for video and application services, and offers VoLTE for voice communications, both nationally and internationally.
