Tunisie Telecom

A long-standing player in Tunisia’s telecommunications sector, Tunisie Telecom has been operating a network of submarine cables since 1985 that connect the country to Europe, Asia, and now Africa via the Medusa system, which was deployed in 2025 along an 8,700-kilometer Bizerte-Marseille route with an initial capacity of 20 Tbit/s. The operator also owns Hannibal, the first 100% Tunisian-owned cable connecting Kélibia to Sicily, as well as a domestic submarine link between El Jorf and Djerba, complementing a fiber-optic network deployed throughout the country. This international and national infrastructure supports all services offered to businesses: high-speed fiber-optic Internet access, 4G and 5G mobile connectivity, data center hosting, and cloud computing solutions. Businesses benefit from direct connectivity to multiple data centers in Europe and Asia via the group’s submarine cables, ensuring service continuity for the most demanding business applications.
