Amsterdam 1 is located in Schiphol-Rijk, just a few minutes from Schiphol Airport, in the heart of Europe’s third-largest data center market.
The site currently offers more than 7,700 m² of IT space and 20.7 MW of IT power. An expansion currently underway will increase capacity to more than 17,000 m² and approximately 40 MW. Two on-site substations will ultimately provide 60 MVA, with 2N UPS systems. Cooling combines free cooling, cold aisle containment, and heat recovery.
Amsterdam 1 is operator- and cloud-neutral. It features redundant meet-me rooms and a wide selection of operators, ranging from international Tier 1 providers to regional players, as well as a direct interconnection with other NTT data centers.
