NTT Global Data Centers, the data center division of NTT DATA, is the world’s third-largest data center provider. It operates more than 150 data centers in over 20 countries and regions, supporting more than 2,000 MW of critical IT load. In Europe, NTT has a presence in Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, and Berlin, as well as in Spain, Switzerland, and Austria. In France, the group is developing its first campus in Corbeil-Essonnes and Le Coudray-Montceaux, 50 km south of Paris. The 14.4-hectare site will house three data centers with a planned capacity of 84 MW of critical IT load. It rounds out NTT’s presence in the four major European FLAP markets: Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, and Paris. NTT Global Data Centers has been built in part on the foundation of recognized operators, such as RagingWire in the United States and e-shelter in Germany. Its colocation offerings range from individual racks to dedicated suites and hyperscale deployments. Its teams also handle the design, layout, and implementation of data centers, with 24/7 remote support. The new sites are designed for AI workloads and high-density deployments. Connectivity is carrier-neutral and leverages the NTT Group’s network: network, cloud, and data center services in more than 190 countries, and over 125,000 km of submarine cables with a transport capacity exceeding 16 Tbps. The company is investing more than $10 billion in new data centers between 2023 and 2027. It aims to achieve net-zero emissions in its own operations, using 100% renewable energy by 2030.
