Core-Backbone is a Nuremberg-based network operator founded about 20 years ago and ranked among Germany’s fastest-growing carriers. The company operates a highly available global network spanning some 20 data centers, with available interface capacity exceeding 40 Tbit/s for Internet traffic. Core-Backbone is continuing to modernize its strategic routes, particularly between Nuremberg and Munich, Nuremberg and Prague, and Hamburg and Düsseldorf, by deploying coherent optical technology that increases capacity to over 800 Gbit/s. Its offering centers on IP Transit, dedicated connectivity, and remote peering for telecom operators, data center operators, and financial service providers, complemented by protection against DDoS attacks. Core-Backbone also offers server colocation, managed infrastructure, network consulting, and site interconnection services, all with low latency.
