Berlin 1 is NTT DATA’s third facility in Germany. It is located in Spandau, in western Berlin. Berlin is the country’s second-largest data center market after Frankfurt and a gateway to Eastern Europe.
The facility offers more than 11,800 m² of IT space and 17.1 MW of IT power. It features a dual 10 kV power supply, 2N UPS systems, and N+1 backup generators.
Berlin 1 is operator- and cloud-neutral and connected to BCIX, DE-CIX, and NL-ix. Its certifications are tailored to regulated sectors: ISO 27001 based on IT-Grundschutz, TISAX for the automotive industry, and KRITIS compliance for critical infrastructure.
